Heeeey World!!!!!!!!

I hope everyone is in a good space with the week going well for them, so far. Can you believe it's already Mid-October?!?!? Where in the world has Twenty-Ten gone??? iCan't yall, seriously. I feel like it was just the first day of January and I was publishing a "new year, new day, new me" type of post another blog. ::sigh:: I have truly slacked this year, but I'm back again and I'm ready, yall! :) I plan on getting the hang of this blogging thAng and set some type of schedule. Starting out, I plan to post at least once a week, every Friday. After ee-Chic actually has a following, I'll post several times throughout the week. The schedule may end up being tweaked a bit, but for now, the schedule below is what I'm going with. However, I can tell you this for certain. I will NEVER post on a Sunday (God willing...that's my plan), as this will be my day of rest in honor of the Sabbath and keeping it Holy. You may not agree with this, but guess what? It is MY blog/life/world, ::jayz voice:: "this ain't for everybody!" so... *kanye shrug*


ee-Chic's tentative posting schedule:

"Eclectic" Tuesdays (weekly feature of things that iDig at the moment, be it a brand, jewelry, handbag, outfit, book, etc.)

"Whatever" Wednesdays (just what it says, each post will be on whatever I feel like posting about at that particular time.)

"EXTRAordinary" Thursdays (weekly feature of ordinary chica/chico living out their dream or vision, doing something positive.)

"SOULful" Saturdays (a little spiritual and/or self-love talk to feed your spirit & soul.)


Oh! Before I go, there's one last thing I want to get out there from jump street. It has been years since I've done any TRUE writing. What are you trying to say, Stephers? What I'm saying is: The possibilty/probability of grammatical & spelling errors all up and through my posts is a definite given. I write the way I talk and will not apologize for it. Until you are paying me to do this... o_0 Now, if you feel that you just MUST correct them, feel free to copy my post and do so. Then, email it to me and I will edit the original post with the revision! I'll even shout you out with a "muchos gracias" or something! LoL :) Once again, until then...you already know, suhn.

Eclectic & EXTRAordinary Chic's PURPOSE

~*~ REWIND to 2009 ~*~

It all started with an ordinary (but very eclectic) girl getting ready for church, while listening to a local pastor's sermon on the radio. He said, "God uses the ORDINARY to do the EXTRAORDINARY." I was done...hook, line, & sinker! That particular line has stayed with me, since. Truthfully, it'll stay with me for the rest of my life. I use it as one of my daily affirmations to keep me inspired and motivated.

Then, flashback to earlier this year whenI had myself a lil *light bulb* "ahaa!" moment. (::said in the voice of Eddie Murphy's barbershop old, white man voice from "Coming To America:: Ahaa! Ahaa! Aww whatta ya know from funny, ya bastard! LMAO - *note to youngsters* If you don't get the "ha ha" joke, for whatever reason, but want to...click here:

So, with this epiphany, I decided that I wanted to do a weekly/bi-weekly feature on EXTRAordinary people in the many different walks of life. Through all of the different social networking sites, I've come across quite a few ordinary individuals who are doing EXTRAordinary things. I want to spotlight them to show you that anything is possible, as long as you keep the faith and never EVER give up. This was a PERFECT FIT with my blog's theme of Eclectic & EXTRAordinary Chic!

That being said, that is one of the main purposes of eeChic. The other main purpose for this blog is to share my journey as I (as the old southern folks would say) let go and let God, chile. I'm just an ordinary girl ready to let God use me to do whatever EXTRAordinary work He has for me in His plans. Now, aside from the EXTRAordinary Chic of the Week post, I plan to do a weekly random post on Whatever Wednesday and a Eclectic Chic of the Week, where I throw some SHINE on something I'm REALLY feelin' that particular week. It could be anything from a haute handbag, killHER heels, bangin' accessory and/or piece of jewelry, etc. As I grow on this EXTRAordinary journey of mine, I am sure this blog will grow along the way.
